Robert McKinney, MD

Founder and Owner

Dr. Robert McKinney is the founder and owner of Corinth Medical Specialists, opening the doors in 2000. He attended the University of Tennessee School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. After completing his residency, Dr. McKinney moved back to Booneville to start his career practicing medicine in his hometown.

Laura Crecelius, MD

Practicing Physician

Dr. Laura Crecelius has been a practicing physician at our office since May of 2013. She attended Indiana University School of Medicine, where she graduated with her Doctor of Medicine in 1992. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1996. Dr. Laura delivered her last baby in 2010 and now focuses solely on her gynecology practice.

Dr. Robert McKinney and Dr. Laura Crecelius will celebrate have been married for over 25 years. They have two daughters, Emily and Madeline. The proud parents love spending time with their girls and cheering them in their activities. In their free time, they also enjoy traveling and singing in the choir at First United Methodist Church in Booneville.

Amber Choate, FNP

Nurse Practitioner

Amber has been a nurse practitioner in our office since 2017. She earned her MSN from Delta State University. She says that she chose to become a nurse practitioner because she enjoys being able to help others and care for those in our community. Amber lives in Corinth with her daughter. They attend East View 1st United Pentecostal Church where she loves to participate in and lead activities. She also enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Cassie Robinson, FNP

Nurse Practitioner

Cassie Robinson has been a nurse practitioner in our office since 2011. She graduated from Tishomingo County High School and attended Union University to earn her MSN. When asked what made her choose this career, she says that she has always enjoyed caring for others. Cassie, her husband Bryan, and their son Dylan live in Iuka where they attend Trinity Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her friends and family and cheering on Mississippi State.
